Game And Fish Asks Big Game Hunters To Take Harvest Survey

Hunting season is well underway and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is asking that resident and nonresident hunters in the state participate in a harvest survey. Hunters can complete the harvest survey online or respond by mail.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has contracted with Tetra Tech to conduct the harvest survey. The survey will obtain information on antelope, deer, elk and black bears. Approximately 90,000 hunters will receive green postcards from the WGFD and Tetra Tech. The postcards will contain a password that hunters can use to complete the survey online. Those hunters who do not complete the survey online will be sent a hard copy of the survey in the mail. Information obtained in the survey is vital to management objectives for numerous herd units across the state.
