People in Laramie remembered the 13th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks in a special way.

A 9/11 Remembrance Stair Climb took place and many Laramie residents joined firefighters from Laramie and surrounding areas to walk up and down the stadium 16 times, the equivalent of what firefighters in New York City climbed on 9/11. Many firefighters wore full gear for the event.

We caught up with firefighters from Elk Mountain, Wyoming to discuss the climb soon after they completed their walk. Three people from the Elk Mountain Fire Department came to Laramie for the event: Captain Bob Meyer, Brian O'Connor, and Richard Bailey all set out to complete the climb.

We spoke with Captain Bob Meyer about why they participated in the climb.
