Fence Relocation-Ask the City

Question:

The fence has been moved at the northwest corner of the Harney Street viaduct project. The old fence surrounded a hazardous waste site, but I haven't seen any signs indicating a cleanup of the area. All I see now are a lot of concrete pipes sitting along the fence line.  Was the fence around a hazardous waste site and the cleanup done like it should have been before the concrete pipes were left there?

Answer:

"Soil investigations have been conducted for WYDOT by Trihydro Corp. in the area where the construction is taking place. WYDOT has confirmed that there is nothing in the construction zone that requires mitigation. The entire site continues to be monitored by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for appropriateness of cleanup."
