ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. Has Josh Allen Going No. 1 in NFL Draft
ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. released his NFL Mock Draft version 3.0 earlier Wednesday, which has former Wyoming QB Josh Allen going No. 1 overall.
Kiper explains his reasoning for Allen being chosen by the Cleveland Browns with the top pick. Kiper even compares Allen's college completion percentage to current Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford and NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre.
Allen is scheduled to have a private workout with the New York Jets in the next week. They have the No. 3 pick behind Cleveland and the New York Giants.
Kiper has quarterbacks going one, two, three, with USC's Sam Darnold second to the Giants, and the Jets taking UCLA's Josh Rosen third in this latest mock draft.
