Armed Robber Thwarted by Casper Woman

A would-be armed robber fled a Casper nail salon after a customer pulled a gun on him.

On Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at the Modern Nails salon in the Hilltop Shopping Center, police say an African-American male entered the business and asked if anyone wanted to buy some diamonds.

Witness say he then reached into his coat pocket and started to pull out a silver colored pistol.

A customer at the salon then pulled a handgun out of her purse and pointed it at the suspect, who then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as being taller than 6 feet 4 inches, and weighing more than 250 pounds, wearing white slacks and was well dressed.
