Cheyenne Regional Medical Center on Monday reported that it had no one hospitalized for COVID-19.

It was not immediately clear when the last time was that CRMC had no one hospitalized for COVID-19. Hospital spokeswoman Kathy Baker said on Tuesday morning that on Sept. 28, 2020, the hospital had only one person hospitalized with the virus.

Through the course of the coronavirus pandemic over the last couple of years, CRMC often reported having anywhere between roughly 30 and 55 people hospitalized with the virus. But those numbers have been showing a marked decline through all of 2022 and especially in recent weeks.
