Wyoming takes on UNLV in mid-week Mountain West basketball tonight. The Cowgirls play on the road, while the Cowboys are at home.

Wyoming split the first meetings earlier this season against the Rebels.

The Wyoming Cowgirls are going for their 10 straight win on the season. They beat UNLV by 22, 79-57, on Jan. 31, 2016 in Laramie. The Lady Rebels are 7-1 at home this season. Wyoming’s last won in Vegas in 2013, 64-60.

The Cowgirls are coming off a comeback win over New Mexico at home last Saturday. Watch what the players and head coach Joe Legerski had to say after that victory.

Wyoming is 15-3 overall and 7-0 in the Mountain West, while UNLV is 13-6 on the season and 4-3 in the league. Game time is 7 p.m. with radio on KOWB (AM 1290).

The Wyoming Cowboys are out for a measure of redemption. They’ve dropped two of their last three games. That includes their last game out and their last home game. Back on New Year’s Eve, the Pokes lost in Vegas to the Runnin’ Rebels, 81-75. The Pokes look to protect home court tonight, where they are 10-1 on the season.

Both teams are 3-4 in the Mountain West and tied for sixth in the standings. UW is 13-7 on the season, while UNLV comes to Laramie with a 10-10 record. Tip-off at the Arena-Auditorium is at 7 p.m. with radio on KCGY (FM 95.1).
