VERNON, Conn. (AP) — Police have searched the Connecticut home of a man who authorities say traveled to Wyoming and fatally stabbed a woman before he shot his father in the head with a bow-and-arrow and killed himself with a knife.

Authorities said Saturday the search of Christopher Krumm's home in Vernon, Conn., was triggered by the attacks in Casper, Wyo., that left three people dead, including the 25-year-old Krumm, who also once lived in Springfield, Mass.

Authorities say Krumm stabbed 42-year-old Heidi Arnold about two miles southwest of Casper College on Friday morning. They say he then went to the college and shot his father, 56-year-old computer science instructor James Krumm with the bow-and-arrow.

Vernon Police Sgt. Timothy O'Connor says whatever was recovered in the search of the younger Krumm's home was turned over to Wyoming investigators.
