Colorado police rescued a poor put from a car peaking at 123-degrees, according to a Fox News Report.

The dog suffered from neurological issues after being exposed to such conditions.

Lakeside Police Officer Dave Kornowski arrived at the scene of the crime which took place in a Walmart parking lot after someone called about animal cruelty.

Kornowski found the dog in the backseat panting with the only flow of air from windows that were slightly cracked.

When the pet's owner arrived, they were upset that the car's window had been broken. The owner claimed that the car was unable to start, but then drove off.

Police arrested the dog's owner on the opposite side of the parking lot at the Walmart gas station.
