A Colorado man is dead following a Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash in Carbon County.

Harry Gardner, 67, was not wearing a helmet, according to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Gardner was northbound on Wyoming Highway 230 near Riverside shortly before 1:30 p.m. Saturday when, while negotiating a curve, the motorcycle went off the highway to the left and hit a fence post.

State troopers are examining the possibility that medical conditions or driver fatigue may have played a role in the crash.

Weather was clear and the road surface was dry at the time.
