With #9 Nebraska headed to Laramie for the first time, there will be even more eyes on true freshman quarterback Brett Smith as he leads the Wyoming offense to their toughest test yet. Through the first three games, the Cowboy football team's offense has exceeded most everyone's expectations. Wyoming is averaging 36.0 points per game with a balanced attack, averagins 226.7 rushing yards per game and 265.7 passing yards.

So how do you get the Cowboy offense ready to face a ranked team in a chaotic atmosphere? Well that's what University of Wyoming offensive coordinator Gregg Brandon came on Sportsline Live to talk about on Monday.

Listen below to hear Coach Brandon talk about the improvements in the offensive line, how Brett Smith has been so successful as a true freshman, the challenges Nebraska will bring to Laramie and even what it was like taking the trip back to Bowling Green last Saturday.

Wyoming will host Nebraska on Saturday, Sept. 24 at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie. Nebraska leads the all-time series 5-0. The last meeting between the teams was in 1994 when Nebraska beat Wyoming 42-32 in Lincoln. Saturday's game will be one of only seven matchups in the nation this week between two unbeaten teams.

Kick off is set for 5:30 p.m. AM-1290 KOWB will have the Pokes Pre-Game Show on air at 2:30 p.m. during which ten tickets to the game will be given away at the Brown 'N Gold on 21st and Grand Ave. in Laramie. Dave Walsh and Kevin McKinney will go on air at 4:30 p.m.
