Casper Couple Win $285K In Lottery

Cindy and Scott Hawes say they plan to ''pay some bills and put money down on a house" after winning over $285, 000 in Wyoming's Cowboy Draw lottery game.

The Casper couple were officially announced as the latest winners in the drawing Tuesday afternoon in Cheyenne. Cindy Hawes said she checked the winning number online and ''let out a scream" when she realized all five numbers matched. She says she never imagined she would win so much money.

The winning ticket was purchased April 17 at the Albertson's Grocery Store on CY Avenue in Casper.

The Hawes were the second Cowboy Draw Jackpot winners in less than a week. A Douglas resident won over $628, 000 a few days ago.

Cindy Hawes says she will continue to play, adding she has already purchased a couple of more tickets for the next drawling
