This is also the second time this season that the duo has swept that award as the two student-athletes took home the honors Nov. 29, as well. This is Bradshaw’s second Player of the Week honor and the fifth Freshman of the Week honor for Fertig.

Bradshaw was sensational this past week in the Cowgirls’ two wins, averaging 26.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 54.1-percent (20-37) from the field overall and 9-of-19 (47.4-percent) from 3-point range.

Bradshaw opened the week with a 23-point performance against conference champion UNLV Thursday. Bradshaw was 9-for-15 from the floor and hit 4-of-8 from beyond-the-arc as UW snapped the Lady Rebels’ 12-game winning streak. Bradshaw also added eight rebounds in the win and started the game 6-for-6 with 16 first quarter points.

Saturday, Bradshaw closed the week with her second 30-point outburst of the season in UW’s victory over San Diego State as she tallied a game-high 30 points while also grabbing five boards. Bradshaw shot 11-of-22 from the field in the victory, went 5-for-11 from 3-point range and a perfect 3-of-3 at the free-throw line.

Fertig, meanwhile, averaged 7.5 points per contest in the two wins but pulled down 12 boards per game during the week and averaged three blocks per contest. Fertig opened the week with her seventh double-double of the season as she scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win over UNLV.

She followed that up with five points and 11 rebounds against San Diego State and notched a career-best four blocks in the win.

The duo and the rest of the Cowgirls are set to host Border Rival Colorado State at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 in the regular season finale.
