DETROIT (AP) — The Blackhawks are heading back to Chicago, and they're bringing the Detroit Red Wings with them.

The Blackhawks have forced a Game 7 in the Western Conference semifinals by scoring three straight goals in the third period of a 4-3 win over the Red Wings in Detroit. Michal Handzus (HAND'-zoos) tied the game 51 seconds into the third period before Brian Bickell (BIK'-ul) gave the Hawks their first lead since the opening period, beating Jimmy Howard with 14:12 remaining. Michael Frolik (FROH'-lik) doubled Chicago's lead on a penalty shot less than four minutes after Bickell's tally.

Damien Brunner scored with 51.7 seconds left to get the Red Wings within 4-3 before Corey Crawford shut the door. Crawford finished with 35 saves.

Marian Hossa (HOH'-sah) contributed a power-play goal and an assist, while Jonathan Toews (tayvz) set up two scores.

Game 7 will be Wednesday in Chicago.
