Black Christmas Trees are The New Trend, What Do You Think?
Speaking as someone who has had a white artificial Christmas tree for years now, I honestly have never thought of going to the opposite side of the color spectrum for this year's holiday decorating, but that didn't stop interior designers and Instagram influencers from declaring Black Christmas Trees as this year's hottest holiday trend.
Photos of the colorless trees show a variety of decor choices, with some people leaning into the "gothic" nature of the color and putting ravens and other dark iconography on the tree. Others decorate them the same way they would normally decorate a Christmas Tree. Still others take it even further, creating a literal Nightmare Before Christmas Tree.
The trees are for sale even at our local Walmart stores, on Amazon, and even in more boutique places with artificial trees like Hobby Lobby or Dillards. What's your opinion on the "goth tree?"
