The Laramie Police Department is investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred at the Loaf 'N Jug on Third Street at 1:09 AM on October 8th, 2014. A  male suspect entered the store at 818 South Third Street and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, believed to be 5’8’’ - 5’10”, and medium build.

The subject was armed with a large knife and had a bandana over his face with holes cut in it for his eyes and mouth. The suspect wore jeans and a hooded light jacket with cuffed coat sleeves and faded horizontal lines as a design.

According to Commander Cushman at the Laramie Police Department, police arrived at the scene within one minute of the call coming in, but they were unable to locate the suspect. Commander Cushman adds that the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. It is not known if the suspect left in a vehicle away from the scene.

Aggravated Robbery is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than 5 years nor more than 25 years if in the course of the crime of robbery the person “uses or exhibits a deadly weapon or a simulated deadly weapon.”
