An 82-year-old Loveland, Colorado man is dead after rolling his car west of Laramie.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 1:39 p.m. Tuesday.

The Patrol says Ralph E. Strassburg was headed east on Interstate 80 when he failed to negotiate a slight right-hand curve near milepost 308, exited the roadway and overturned in the median.

Strassburg, who was unbuckled, was taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie where he later died from his injuries.

The Patrol says driver inattention may have contributed to the crash.
