Little Snake River posted 9 consecutive shut-outs entering the 1A 6 man championship against Hanna-Elk Mountain. That's an unbelievable accomplishment that would be hard to sustain vs. a potent H.E.M offense. The Miners did score to break the scoreless streak but the Miners had serious trouble stopping the Rattler's star running back Riggen Myers. The young man ran the ball for an astounding 376 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also ran a kick-off back for a TD, threw a TD pass and returned an interception for a touchdown. Conor and Shane McGraw of H.E.M combined for 166 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Shane threw 2 TD passes and caught one too. Both teams accounted for over 800 yards of offense but Little Snake River prevailed 71-38. There's plenty of touchdowns to show you from War Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
