Wyoming Hall of Fame Team Comes Together for Fundraiser [AUDIO]

Fennis Dembo, Eric Leckner, Shawn Dent, Tim Hunt, Reggie Fox, Rod Tyson and Turk Boyd, all members of the Wyoming 1986-87 "Sweet 16" men's basketball team will be signing autographs in Laramie this Saturday, Sept. 3rd to help raise funds for a Wyoming alum who is battling cancer. In addition to autographs there will be a silent auction, raffles, and 18 issues of the 1988 Sports Illustrated Magazine featuring the "Dazzling Dude" Fennis Dembo on the cover.

Former University of Wyoming football player James Loving talked about the upcoming event, as well as which records he still holds at Wyoming, with David Settle and Jake Anfinson on Sportsline Live Wednesday. Listen below.

The fundraiser will take place at Bailey's Restaurant & Patio in Laramie from 1 to 3 p.m. Bailey's is located at 2410 E. Grand Avenue. The Wyoming basketball team from 1986-87 will be inducted into the University of Wyoming Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept 2nd and honored at the Wyoming-Weber State football game on Saturday, Sept. 3rd.
