On Monday morning a 26-year-old woman was killed near Wright, Wyoming in a single-vehicle rollover crash.

Wyoming Highway Patrol reports Tanya L. Husmann of Wright was driving on Highway 59 when her minivan drifted into a guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll once.  Husmann was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

The accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. nearly 3 miles outside Wright and Emergency Medical Technicians were first to respond to the scene.  While first-responders were on the scene, Husmann's husband, who was driving by with co-workers, stopped at the scene, presumably after recognizing his wife's vehicle.

According to Highway Patrol Lt. Will Zilka, Tanya Husmann had dropped her husband off at work only a few minutes before the accident and was driving toward her place of work.  At the time of the accident, Troopers did not ask Mr. Husmann further details of his happening to have been driving by.

Zilka says based on the known facts of the accident, Husmann likely would have survived had she been wearing a seatbelt.
