One Killed, One Injured in Casper-Area Crash
CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities say one person was killed and another was seriously injured in a Casper-area car crash.
The Natrona County Coroner’s Office says 20-year-old Joseph Janiga was headed south on Salt Creek Highway at about 2 a.m. Wednesday when he lost control of his car and crashed into a concrete wall.
The Associated Press reports Janiga died at the scene and his 27-year-old passenger was taken to Wyoming Medical Center.
Investigators are trying to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
