Larry Shyatt and his family were welcomed back to UW this afternoon in Laramie. Shyatt was hired as the new UW Men's  Basketball Coach and was welcomed by hundreds of loyal and hopeful Cowboy fans. Shyatt hoping to "Restore the Glory" first wants to restore the loyalty of the Cowboy fans and get them back in their seats.

Shyatt was the head coach for Wyoming during the 1997-98 season. He returned to Wyoming last week to replace Heath Schroyer, who was fired in February.

Also in the hire this week was Scott Duncan as the associate head coach and Jeremy Shyatt as an assistant coach. Duncan comes to UW from UCLA, where he had served as an assistant coach for the past four seasons. Duncan also was an assistant coach at Wyoming during the 1997-98 season. He is known for his ability to recruit quality players. Jeremy Shyatt is the oldest son of Larry and comes to UW after serving as an assistant coach at North Florida over the past two seasons.

Welcome back Larry!
