Laramie Sweeps in Rock Springs

Laramie won both their games beating Rock Springs on Friday night. Thanks to a joint effort by Madison Legerski and Katie Kuhn scoring 18 of Laramie's 20 points in the 3rd quarter the Lady Plainsmen rallied in the second half to win 51-46. The Plainsmen followed the girls win with a 69-50 victory of their own.

The Lady Plainsmen (9-2) won their 7th straight game in a row beating the Rock Springs Lady Tigers. Laramie trailed going into the half 24-20 but Madison Legerski caught fire in the third quarter scoring 14 of the teams 20 points. Legerski for the fourth straight game in a row led the team in points with 19 points. Katie Kuhn followed with 14 points. Next up for the Lady Plainsmen is Green River in Laramie on Saturday January 12th.

The Plainsmen moved to 9-2 on the season after their 69-50 win over Rock Springs. Laramie led going into half 31-27 and never game up the lead in the second half. Sam Hainline led Laramie with 19 points. Sam Feldman followed with 17 points and Dominick Villirreal had 13 points and 5 rebounds. The Plainsmen tip-off against Rock Springs following the girls game in Laramie.
