Highway 287 Construction
WYDOT is warning travelers that Highway 287 between Laramie and the Colorado State Line will begin blasting operations.
Construction crews on the US 287 divided highway project near the Colorado border begin blasting operations next week.
Travelers in both directions are advised to expect occasional delays of up to 30 minutes.
There are three ways to avoid these delays:
Until the project is complete towards the end of summer, avoid traveling that stretch of roadway at 10 am or 3 pm. Blasting will not occur every day, but when it does, it will occur only at 10 am or 3 pm.
Blasting will not occur on Sundays
