Now that school is out for the summer, it’s time to figure out how to occupy all those kids for the next three months. While summer camps for kids that last all summer long don’t seem to be as common any more, there is no shortage of camps in the region for the youth of Laramie to attend.

Laramie High School graduated 229 seniors during the commencement ceremony on Friday at the Arena Auditorium. After receiving their diplomas, the senior headed over to celebrate at Project Graduation.
Albany County Public Library Gears Up for Summer Programs
A rocket launch, a scavenger hunt, legos, movies, puppets and life sized chess are all part of free programs being hosted by the Albany County Public Library this summer. First Graders Unveil Addition to "Welcome to Laramie" Sign [PHOTOS]
The first graders in room 125 at Beitel Elementary School have been working all year to impact the Laramie community. Their hard work paid off on Thursday afternoon with the “Make A Difference” Celebration in which they unveiled an addition to the “Welcome to Laramie” sign on Snowy Range Road near Kiwanis Park.
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Hosting Annual Laramie Banquet
The Laramie Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting their 22nd Annual Banquet at the Laramie Ice and Event Center on June 2. The RMEF says there are six million reasons to attend the fundraiser for the conservation organization, as they’ll be celebrating the six millionth acre conserved.
Musical About Laramie History Presented by The Unexpected Company
The senior community theatre group The Unexpected Company is performing “Fable, Foibles & Follies of Laramie City,” which is billed as an hysterical, historical musical review. The show will cover Laramie history from 1860-1890.
Fort Collins Man Fails in Attempt to Rob Laramie Bank
Jacob Scott Anderson was arrested after allegedly confronting a Wells Fargo Bank employee with a gun in the parking lot in Laramie on Tuesday morning according to the Laramie Police Department. The LPD says they arrested the would-be bank robber thanks to the quick action taken by the bank employee and witnesses who called dispatch to relay Anderson’s description and location.
