As Kip Moore says in his very first career No. 1 hit, there’s just “somethin’ ’bout a truck.”  In Laramie there are some pretty nice trucks for sale and we decided to go take a look at the most expensive trucks available at Laramie car dealers. Good luck not drooling.

The 2012 model of the Silverado 2500HD still generates excellent horsepower and torque with its 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8, but it more fuel efficient than past models. This particular truck combines the strong chassis the Silverado has become known for with the Rocky Mountain Truckworks workhorse package, which the folks at Laramie GM Auto Center say literally make this truck a workhorse.

This 4 x 4 Crewmax 5.7L V8 LTD can tow over 10,000 and still carry three full size people in the back seat. According to the people at Ken’s Toyota, this baby is special because it’s good on the highway and off road. With 387 horsepower, when you step on it, she goes!

Alright, here’s where we take a big leap forward, in price and in serious towing capacity. This dually diesel truck can pull 24,400 pounds. Take a moment to think about that. Then think about the 4.30 gear ratio on the rear axle and this truck from Laramie Ford quickly looks worth the extra dough.

Admittedly, the people at Laramie Ford pointed out that this one ton pickup can’t pull as much as the F450, but what she lacks in power she makes up for in comfort. And by “lacking in power” I mean she pulls 15,800 pounds with her diesel engine. This Lariat truck has the Chrome package and not only are the seats heated, they’re air conditioned as well. Work in comfort my friends.

Honestly, how often do you find a truck this pretty that has a 4-inch lift? This big dog daddy at Laramie GM has the HD4 package from Rocky Mountain Truckworks to go with a 6.6L, 8 cylinder diesel engine. This would be what you go to when you want to get a job done and look good doing it.
