Mock Bio-Disaster Exercise Continues Across Wyoming

A mock biological disaster, “Operation Prairie Eagle”, continues this week with emergency response partners across the state participating. The Exercise requires mass distribution of anti-biotics in the face of widespread anthrax contamination. The practice scenario began last Friday in Natrona County and involved the Governor requesting from the Center for Disease Control medication from the Strategic National Stockpile.

Mock Biological Disaster Exercise To Prime Wyoming Responders

“Operation Prairie Eagle” took flight today as state of Wyoming and federal agencies participate in a mock biological disaster requiring mass distribution of medical supplies.

Natrona County Health Department Director, Bob Harrington, says its an exercise that involves accessing the Strategic National Stockpile from the Centers for Disease Control.
