Always A Cowboy 8k Run/5k Walk Is This Saturday [AUDIO]

The 10th Anniversary Always A Cowboy 8k run and 5k walk will be at Undine Park in Laramie this Saturday, Sept. 10 at 9:00 a.m. Raceday registration is available for $25 at 7 a.m.

University of Wyoming cross country coach Randi Cole and Steve Kaiser from Gem City Bone and Joint came onto Sportsline Live with David Settle and Steve Kiggins. Listen below to here about how special this event is for the current Wyoming cross country and track athletes, as well as the Laramie community.

Always A Cowboy is an annual race held in memory of the eight University of Wyoming cross country student athletes who died in a car accident on September 16, 2001. The race is eight kilometer for runners in honor of each one of the eight athletes. All proceeds are donated to the University of Wyoming cross country teams.
