Just over two months have passed since a tragic accident that left four dead occurred on Wyoming Highway 130. Spring flooding and well above average snow pack levels caused dozens of problems across Wyoming roads and highways this year. Numerous land slides and road closures occurred over the Spring season and caused millions of dollars of damage.

On July 19th, the Constantinides family of Colorado Springs was evacuating their camp site when they drove into a washed out section of highway. Laurel Constantinides and her three daughters died in the accident. Since then the Wyoming Department of Transportation  constructed a temporary single lane bridge at the washed out area and Wyoming highway officials are now hoping to finalize work on Wyoming 130 before winter comes.

The design for a permanent bridge on Wyoming 130 is almost complete and officials say the project is on schedule. Officials hope to complete work on the bridge before winter comes into full swing and snow gets to heavy.
