CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is considering changes to older fisheries regulations.

One involves using artificial light to fish, and another involves snagging on the North Platte River using beads and hooks.

A third possible change addresses a shortage of commercially raised minnows.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports the proposals will be up for public comment in the next several months, with a recommendation before the Game and Fish Commission in September.
