Everett Conant III was arrested and charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He will appear in court today for a hearing in which the judge will decide if he will stand trial.

He is accused of shooting and killing his three sons and his 33 year old brother. Conant's wife was also wounded during the incident. Conant was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation at the state hospital in Evanston, WY. Court proceedings were put on hold until the mental evaluation was completed.

A preliminary hearing will be held today in Wheatland with Circuit Judge Randal R. Arp to determine if he will face charges in district court.
