Chances are the Nebraska football players probably aren't too fazed by the hype in Wyoming about their first trip ever to Laramie. After all, they experience hype and chaos wherever they go, that's what happens when you play on a highly ranked team.

However, Saturday's game will be no. 9 Nebraska's first road test of the 2011 season and Greg Sharpe, who does the play-by-play for the Huskers, says the stop in Laramie is a vital part of their preparation for conference play.

Nebraska's trying to build some steam and momentum going into the Big Ten Conference...but congratulations to what the Cowboys have done. I'm just so impressed with what they've done to start off this season with that blocked PAT to end last week's game and I know we're walking into a place that's very excited for this football game.

It's no secret that the Cornhusker defense has not been as strong as expected in the first three games of the season. Eric Schmoldt and Steve Kiggins spoke with Sharpe on Sportsline Live Thursday.
