Let’s face it, the weather is beginning to change whether we like it or not. Leaves are changing color and falling of the trees, and snow will be here before we know it. This is the time of year that staying indoors curled up in front of a fire reading a nice book can be the best activity around. We want to know which books you prefer to read.

With today being the first day of October, it’s pretty much impossible to ignore the changing and subsequently falling leaves in Laramie. Of course, if those leaves are landing in your lawn, then it means you’ve probably at least thought about raking your lawn.

It’s no secret that the Wyoming Cowboys have gotten off to a tough 0-3 start to the 2012 season. Their last two losses have been by a combined five points. The bad news is the Pokes don’t have a win yet. The good news is they still have the upcoming Mountain West Conference season ahead.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation, or WYDOT, is in the process of discussing plans for the reconstruction of Grand Avenue between 15th and 21st Streets in the year 2014. Several changes are planned for the reconstruction project, and many of these changes have been long awaited by motorists, pedestrians and cyclists using Grand Avenue every day.

The Laramie Regional Airport will have a new carrier on Nov. 4th with SkyWest Airlines. Operating United Express flights, SkyWest will bring two daily flights to Denver on EMB 120′s, which seat 30 people.

We all hate to admit it, but cold and flu season is just around the corner. In fact, a nasty bug has already been working its way through the people of Laramie. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, recommends all people over 6 months of age get a flu shot this season. The CDC says it is especially important for people with certain medical conditions (like asthma or diabetes), pregnant women and caregivers to get a flu shot. We want to know if you plan on receiving a flu vaccination this season.

Saturday was the first home game for the University of Wyoming football team and over 21,000 people were in War Memorial Stadium cheering on the Pokes. As a fan, where do you think the best seat is in War Memorial Stadium?

With last night kicking off the regular season in the NFL, we now are officially into high school, college and professional football seasons. Every level has its own advantages for the viewer. There are many reasons to prefer any of these. We want to know which skill level of football you would rather watch.
