It was a rough road trip to start conference play last weekend for Laramie High School’s basketball teams, as they were swept in Sheridan and Gillette.

Four turnovers, a blocked punt and field position all contributed in a season-opening loss for the Laramie Plainsmen at Sheridan, 42-13, last Friday night.
In a match filled with plenty of intensity and drama, the Laramie Plainsmen beat the Sheridan Broncs in overtime, 1-0, Friday in the semifinals of the 4A State Soccer Tournament.
