The Forest Service eased the restrictions because of the reduction in human-caused risk, increased fuel moisture, and favorable long-term fire weather forecasts.
The BLM prohibitions are largely similar to the county restrictions, but they specify that those who smoke will have to be careful about where they light up.
This past weekend's precipitation temporarily lowered fire danger in some parts of the county, but dry conditions elsewhere and a high temperatures forecast over the next few days mean folks will have to take extra care to prevent wildfires.
