Rock River is 14-4 on the season. They went 4-2 in the 1A Southeast Quadrant.

The Longhorns are a No. 2 seed at the 1A East Regional Tournament in Hulett on Friday and Saturday. Rock River will play Midwest at 10:30 a.m. on Friday in their first regional match.

KOWB’s David Settle caught up with seniors Mikayla Alexander, Naomi Moore, Avery Scott, and Jentry Sims after a 3-1 home victory last week over Encampment. The four players discussed an emotional night for them and head coach Heather Alexander, how they turned the match around, how they’ve played this season, what they need to focus on, and looking ahead to the postseason as they try to qualify for the state tournament.

We also have some photos from the home match below. Enjoy!

Rock River will play at least two matches on Friday at the regional tournament. The seeding and placing matches are at noon and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The full schedule for the regional tournament is on the regional volleyball scoreboard story at WyoPreps.com.
