The Laramie Plainsmen picked up an important second win on the season, as they rallied in the second half for a 19-13 victory at the South Bison on a frigid, Friday night in Cheyenne. Laramie utilized a trick play with a "double bubble" pass, as senior running back Bridger Rardin found senior receiver Kollin West for a 39 yard touchdown pass on a halfback option. A two-point conversion put LHS ahead 11-6.

After the teams traded punts, South went on an 18 play drive that lasted over 8 minutes. They had it inside the Laramie 10, but he Plainsmen stuffed the Bison on third and fourth down in a short yardage situation.

Laramie (2-4) got a key score three plays later. Senior Q-B Drew Burman on third down and three raced 86 yards up the middle for the score. Another two-point run made 19-6 with 3:23 left.

South (0-6) answered with Adam Haberkorn's second t-d run of the game with 35 seconds remaining. An onside kick followed, but it failed, and the Plainsmen ran out the clock.

Laramie finished with 333 yards of total offense, which included 226 on the ground. Burman ran for 149 yards and threw for 68. Senior Kyle Russell added a career-long 34 yard field goal for the other score by the Plainsmen.
