John Wallace of Chassell, MI was the second victim of a bear attack in Yellowstone National Park this year, he was 59 years old. Wallace's body was discovered by hikers Friday near the Mary Mountain Trail northeast of Old Faithful.

Autopsy reports released today state that Wallace died as a result of traumatic injuries sustained from a bear attack. John Wallace's death marks the second this year within Yellowstone National Park. Earlier this summer another person was attacked and killed by a grizzly bear. The grizzly responsible for that attack was not euthanized because park officials believed the bear would more than likely not attack again.

Officials began searching for the grizzly after bear tracks and scat were discovered near Wallace's body. As of now there are no reports of officials finding the bear responsible for the attack.
