The amount of time the Laramie Plainsmen have left to prepare for the 2018 high school football season is dwindling. It all starts Friday, Aug. 24.

Two veterans that will be counted on to lead the way this season are senior Jason Upton and junior Calvin Webb. Upton has been a starter the last two years, while Webb played last year, but saw his season cut short by an injury. Both are looking forward to a new season.

KOWB’s David Settle caught with Upton and Webb after the start of week two of fall camp. They discussed how it’s gone thus far, the classes they are part of, preparing for the season and more. There was a little of the lighter side of sports, as well.

The Plainsmen make their 2018 debut in Casper against Kelly Walsh. Kick-off on Aug. 24 is at 7 p.m.
