Jim Gaffigan will put on two shows Saturday night at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Tickets cost $40 for the public and $20 for UW students.  They can be purchased at the Wyoming Union information desk, at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts box office, or here.

Gaffigan is a New York Times best-selling author, Grammy-nominated comedian, and father of five.

“Obsessed,” Gaffigan’s fourth one-hour special, premiered last year on Comedy Central.  The audio recording debuted in the top spot on iTunes and was Gaffigan’s fifth album in the Top 25 Comedy category.  “Obsessed” was also nominated for “Best Comedy Album of the Year” at the 2015 Grammy Awards show.

Gaffigan is the star and executive producer of “The Jim Gaffigan Show”.  The program premiered on TV Land and Comedy Central in July.  He has also made several guest appearances, including dramatic performances on “Law & Order” and comedic roles on shows such as “Flight of the Concords,” “Bored To Death”, and “Portlandia.”

Gaffigan’s two books–“Dad is Fat” and “Food: A Love Story”–each debuted in the top five on the New York Times bestsellers list.

Saturday’s shows are sponsored by UW Concerts and Convocations.
