Irish Chamber Orchestra Featuring Pianist Leon Fleisher Perform Tonight

The University of Wyoming will have the pleasure of hosting the internationally acclaimed Irish Chamber Orchestra this evening (October 24th) at the UW Fine Arts concert hall. The concert will feature the full chamber orchestra as well as pianist Leon Fleisher. The evening’s performance will begin at 7:30pm.

The Irish Chamber Orchestra is on an eight-city tour of the United States sponsored by Imagine Ireland and is an initiative of Culture Ireland. Tonight’s performance is rare as it will feature the full chamber orchestra as well as pianist Leon Fleisher. In 2007 Fleisher received the Kennedy Center Honors Award and was also named “Instrumentalist of the Year” in 2010 by the Royal Philharmonic Society.
