Gently Worn Clothing Sold To Benefit Local Women’s Group
Women in Laramie will have the chance to purchase lightly used clothing to help a good cause. Soroptimist International of Laramie is hosting their Repeat Boutique on Saturday, October 25. The event will go from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and takes place at the Elks Lodge at 102 South Second Street.
The group will be selling gently worn ladies’ and girls’ clothing to raise money for their program. Jewelry will also be sold at the event.
Soroptimist International is an organization for business and professional women. The group works to improve the lives of other women and girls within their communities and throughout the world. According to their website, the name “Soroptimist” means “best for women” which is what the organization strives toward.
The Laramie organization hosts a variety of programs in the community for all ages including volunttering at the food bank, adopting a portion of the Laramie River Greenbelt Trail and sponsoring an adopt a family Christmas program.
