Marta Gomez scored 19 points to lead five Cowgirls in double figures, and Wyoming posted an 84-56 blowout of the Air Force Falcons Wednesday in Laramie.

The Cowgirls made 9-of-13 shots and jumped out to a 24-7 lead after the first quarter. The scored a season-high 44 points in the first half and led by 26 at the break. The lead reached 40 points in the fourth quarter.

Wyoming (11-10, 4-7) halted their four-game losing skid with the victory.

Marquelle Dent scored 14 points, Liv Roberts added 11, while Hailey Ligocki and Marleah Campbell chipped in 10 points apiece. In fact, all 11 players scored for UW. In the game, the Cowgirls shot 54 percent and knocked down ten 3-pointers. They also finished with 20 assists.

None of the Wyoming starters played more than 28 minutes.

Air Force (0-21, 0-10) was led by Dee Bennett with 13 points. The Falcons shot just 29 percent from the floor and began the game 2-of-15.

The Cowgirls head back on the road and play at Utah State Saturday at 2 p.m.
