With only two players returning with significant experience, head coach of the University of Wyoming women's basketball team Joe Legerski, realizes that fans may be paying extra attention to the roster the first time his team takes the court. The graduation of four seniors, plus the loss of two players during the offseason, means the Cowgirls are suddenly an unfamiliar bunch.

Legerski joined Eric Schmoldt and Jake Anfinson on Sportsline Live Tuesday to introduce his young squad. Listen below to hear about how practices have been going, what the expectations are for his returning players and what the new players are bringing to the team.

It is completely new. I told my staff that going to practice has been really exciting and fun every day because with so many new players, they're excited and every drill you can see that they're learning. Where the challenge is going to come in is on game nights. I told my staff, even though the older kids didn't like to do all the drills, you knew on game night, they were going to be there because they had been through it so many times. That's going to be the flip of it all this year is just the challenge of trying to get the young kids. One of the things I've noticed immediately is we're not as far along as we'd like to be, just because we have to spend so many more times with reps of going through a lot of the basic things to try to get our young kids up to speed in what we're trying to get done.
