Today marks 1,010 days since the Senate has passed a budget.

Many Republican lawmakers have voiced their criticism of going this length of time without a passed federal budget, and targeted much of this criticism to Democratic members of the Senate as there is a Democratic majority.  One such Republican lawmaker unafraid of voicing criticisms is Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, who appeared on Fox News on the day that marked 1,000 since a budget had been passed.

Barrasso says he thinks much of the delay is that the Democrats don't want the American people to see how irresponsible Government spending is.  He also says that when President Barack Obama proposed a budget last year, it was almost a joke as no one in the Senate, Democrat or Republican voted for the President's proposal.

Barrasso says Obama needs to address this serious issue, because though he did inherit a bad situation in becoming President, the situation has only become worse.
