Artists from Around the Region Attending Festival of the Arts

Artists from the region will be in Laramie at the end of this month for the first Laramie Festival of the Arts.

The two day event will feature over 30 musicians and at least 35 artists.

The Laramie Festival of the Arts will take place at Depot Park on Friday, August 28 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, August 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Regional artists will be exhibiting and selling there work, and a wide variety of local musicians and performing art acts will participate in the festival.

In addition, the festival will include a juried show, children's art activities, at least three food vendors and a paint and sip party for those who are 21 years of age or older.

Volunteers are still needed to assist with set up, registration and visitor services during the event. If you are able to donate a few hours of your time on the 28th or 29th, pleae contact Laramie Main Street at 307-760-3355 or email downtownlaramie@gmail.com
