Adam S. Grasmick a 29-year-old Laramie resident has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 19-year-old male in Laramie.

According to an official release, the 19-year-old man was stabbed in Laramie during the early morning hours of the 15th.  Police say that the victim, whom they declined to identify, was treated at Ivinson Memorial Hospital and transported to Medical Center of the Rockies where he continues to be treated.

Adam S. Grasmick was booked on charges of aggravated assault.  According to Laramie Police, A person is guilty of Aggravated Assault and Battery if he or she “attempts to cause or intentionally or knowingly causes bodily injury to another with a deadly weapon.” The penalty for Aggravated Assault and Battery is imprisonment for not more than 10 years.

Police say the investigation is on-going.
