The Wyoming Department of Transportation shared some good news to start the Thanksgiving week: two employees rescued an owl that had a broken wing.

Marc Crazick and Robert "Skip" Harvey found the owl while working traffic control on Interstate 25.

"They took the time to get it out of harm's way and over to the Wyoming Game and Fish Office in Casper," WYDOT said on its Facebook page.

"Wyoming Game and Fish was thankful for the recovery and we are thankful for our WYDOT employees," the post concluded.
