The pending suspension of Laramie’s Gem City Grand bus service has prompted the University of Wyoming to develop plans for a new, more limited bus route that would be open to both students and the public at no charge.

According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation snow control costs this winter exceeded the planned budged by $6.6 million.

Representatives from the City of Laramie, Albany County Traffic Commissions, Project Main Street, UW Transportation and Parking, Laramie Airport Board, WYDOT, and others will be on hand for a free public meeting.
