For a third major in a row the Sportsline Live Golf Calcutta came down to a tie breaker.

It's the final golf major of the year, and with that comes another chance to win a cache of prizes from Sportsline Live. It's back, our SLL PGA Championship Golf Calcutta.

The 2013 Open Championship has wrapped up at Muirfield Golf Course in Scotland. While Phil Mickelson was the true winner, Sportsline Live kept track of the leader board, and we had our own champion of our golf calcutta. Ray Smith is the winner of our prize pack, as he tied for the top spot and won on the second tie-breaker.

The winner receives a nice prize pack if they finish with the lowest combined score between their two golfers.

It's the second major of the golfing year, our national championship. Once again, Sportsline Live is giving people a chance to win a nice prize pack with our SLL US Open Golf Calcutta. This time we had two people tie for the top spot.

It's been nothing but go, go go for new Laramie Plainsmen head football coach Chuck Syverson. After he received formal approval by the school board for the job, he was in Laramie last Friday to begin the transition to a new era of Plainsmen football.

University of Wyoming Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tom Burman made a special appearance on Sportsline Live on KOWB, April 15, to discuss all that's been going on with Wyoming athletics, the Mountain West Conference and college sports in general. What made this different from any other time that Mr. Burman's been on the show, is that he came in studio and was on for the entire 60 minutes.

Four times a year, we put together a nice cache of prizes and hold an open calcutta for the major's in golf. First up was the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. With a smaller field than anticipated, it gave our entrants a great shot at the prize pack. The 2013 Masters Golf Calcutta winner is Josh. Congratulations Josh from KOWB!
